Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong, sweet berries, candied blueberry and some current.  Elderflower/floral also present with a slight sweet apple. Some tangy/sour elements.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation with some acidity.  Sweet, creamy and somewhat syrupy fresh blueberry and some dessert apple notes.
After Taste: Fruit flavours continue with the elderflower becoming more present.  Some film finish that lingers. Long lasting, sweet but clean tasting.  Fresh blueberry present for awhile.
On ice: Mild reduction in flavour. Thinner mouth feel, less tangy and sharp.  Less elderflower.

Additional Notes: Thornbury’s Blueberry Elderflower is full flavoured but not heavy.  It’s filled with fresh blueberries and a balanced elderflower taste.  A sweet apple is the base, but does not pull from the overall balance.  Floral, fruity and easy to drink.  If you are interested in going to the extremes from a traditional, drier apple cider, but still like something easy to drink, this might be the one for you.
