Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Mild aroma. Semi-sweet, pulpy apples.
Initial Taste: Minimal sensation from carbonation and acidity. Quickly a slightly tangy and semi-sweet dessert apple base with some heritage apple notes and tannins. Mild honey notes.
After Taste: Apple flavours continue. Becomes more tangy. Ends smooth, semi-dry, with a bit of a candied apple taste. Mild sulphur notes.
On ice: Slightly thinner but not much noticeable change in flavour or composure.
Additional Notes: Tawse’s canned cider is an approachable cider – obviously with winery roots, but could be enjoyed by most cider drinkers. Being largely driven by acidity and tang, it features a medley of dessert and heritage apple notes – mostly pulpy in nature. Defined by a clean, smooth experience, you don’t get a lot of residual fermentation process notes.
