Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Extra funky with some creamy elements.  Acetic
Initial Taste: Light bite from a carbonation and acidity. Strong dank elements that have some earthy notes (Acetic). Sour and slightly bitter/tart, it’s quite gritty.  Golden apple.
After Taste: Apple is reduced and has a short aftertaste except for the fermentation element in it.  Lingers in the back of the throat.
On ice: Reduced intensity and overall flavour

Additional Notes:  Stock & Row’s Golden Russet shifts from the somewhat clean ciders they are known for, to a funky and assertive single varietal.  Acetic, sour, earthy and funky, it has a lot of fermentation elements. We found it focuses more on the elements, than the apples, but the apples are golden tasting for whats there. Quick finishing (not a long aftertaste but some of the non-apple elements). Intensity matches the colour. Some trub.
