Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sour and funky blackberry and apple
Initial Taste: Medium bite from acidity and carbonation. Dry tannic apples and blackberries with a bit of funk.
After Taste: Apples dissipate as blackberry becomes more prominent. Not overly long lasting but does finish on a dry berry note. Semi-gritty, natural fruit aspects.
On ice: Reduced overall flavour and thinner.
Additional Notes: Stock & Row’s limited edition Blackberry Cider specialty offering is a slightly acidic and funky blackberry with some tannic apple elements. No sweetness in this one, it’s pretty dry overall. If you’re expecting something like their other offerings, you will not find that here. Somewhat tart and sour, but natural fruit flavours really define this. Only 500 bottles made – 2022.
