Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium, sweet apple with some hints of freshly pressed non-alcoholic apple cider
Initial Taste: Mild bite from sugar, hints of sweet, pulpy apple with some spice. Thick and creamy with apple pulp.
After Taste: Turns slightly tangy with a bit of a dry finish, has an apple-wine aftertaste.
On ice: Thickness and flavour reduced (closer to the original Somersby)
Additional Notes: Somersby’s Semi-dry apple reminds us very much of a cross-over between the original apple Somersby and a non-alcoholic fresh-pressed cider. If you like the original, you might find this to be a nice treat, as its thicker, and creamier, with less sugar (however, still quite sweet).
