Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong sweet elderflower smell with hints of lime, kiwi and apple juice
Initial Taste: Smooth, strong elderflower taste. Slight bite from the fizz. Some tangy lime notes.
After Taste: Sweet notes develop. Elderflower flavour remains steady with the lime notes becoming more prevalent. Becomes flat quickly with mild apple flavours developing and lingering.
On ice: Carbonation is cut. Flavour is slightly cut and it becomes more flat tasting.
Additional Notes: The elderflower flavour is enjoyable – especially since it is not a commonly found flavour. However, this drink is very sweet and it is most definitely commercially targeted and it is lacking a lot of the elements of traditional ciders.
