Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, bright and citrus elements.  Orange hints amongst the pulpy apple base.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Bright apples with a thin mouthfeel.  Strong citra-hop notes that are orange and lemon forward. Lychee and tropical hints. Has an intriguing acidity.
After Taste: Becomes slightly drier and smoother.  Hops notes linger awhile – longer than the apple base; with it becoming more lychee tasting. A tingly finish that is comforting.
On ice: Dramatically watered-down.

Additional Notes:  Hint o’ Hops by Slabtown Cider has a bit of a deceiving name – its actually very hops driven in flavour, without the bitterness you’d find in a very hopped beer. Very smooth, the apple base is thin and light and allows for the various hops flavours – like orange, lemon, lychee – to really shine. One of the smoothest dry-hopped ciders we’ve had; yet still crisp, acidic and refreshing, its a gripping and forceful in the mouth. Long lingering flavour and a tingly mouthfeel.
