Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Pulpy and fresh strawberries. Slightly acidic and tangy.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Quickly tart. Smooth apples that become a bit more acidic. Muddled strawberries are prominent, and very natural (not candied). Goes back and forth between the flavours.
After Taste: Apple reduces finishing more strawberry but also acidic and earthy. Somewhat long lasting and a drier film.
On ice: Thinner overly by a lot. Less tart.
Additional Notes: Shiny’s Strawberry is a very tart cider with some acidity and a bold naturalness to it. Apples are bright and slightly sour, strawberries are earthy, natural, jammy and muddled. Long lasting with the flavours going back and forth between them. Gorgeous rust flavoured, it doesn’t lack in intensity. Drier in the finish but not overly dry.
