Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Fresh juicy, bittersharp apples
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Medium apple with some bitter-sharp notes. Crisp and slightly tangy.
After Taste: Carbonation exits rapidly. Some stone fruit elements in aftertaste.  Becomes more dry, but cleans out somewhat quickly. Some banana-ester-like notes.
On ice: Less carbonation. Little other change.

Additional Notes:  The Crisp Apple by Shale Ridge, is very crisp and pleasantly simple. Very clean, and mostly bittersharp-apple focused (not too sweet, slightly tangy) with some acidic notes, the offering is a great example of a very refreshing cider. A fizzy pour but a lighter mouthfeel overall.
