Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Sweet aroma of red maraschino cherries and Twizzlers. Light dessert apple.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Sweet and candied red apples. Some light dessert apples, but mostly candy apple flavouring. Cherry undertones.
After Taste: Sweetness reduces a bit, as does apple, leaving a candy finish.  Somewhat clean with a hint of residue at the end. Lingers but with minimal intensity.
On ice: Reduced carbonation.

Additional Notes:  Saunders Cider has a unique offering with their Tricky Treat Cider, made with the same product its candy apples are coated in. Sweet but not sugary and light to consume overall.  Most of the apple is hidden by the candy flavouring.  A fun treat that you don’t feel bad about indulging in. Even dry cider fans will probably appreciate this sweet treat because of its accurate capturing of the candy apple experience.
