Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong and musty apples with some vinegar notes. Slightly earthy.
Initial Taste: Medium bite, slightly tangy, pulpy apple. Obvious tannic notes, with mild vinegar-like fermentation elements.
After Taste: Becomes smother and sweeter, quickly. Heavy on yeast and the fermentation process that lingers for a while. Finishes with more heritage apple flavours than it starts with.
On ice: Reduced carbonation, little other change.
Additional Notes: A rare standard regularly offered in the Revel line, the Time and Place cider is a tannic-heavy heritage apple-tasting cider that starts funky and gets smoother – but has some tangy and vinegar elements from the fermentation process.
