Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, juicy pineapple. Pulpy dessert apples.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite from carbonation. Creamy, fresh pineapple juice. Some dessert apples. Hints of fermentation. Natural pineapple tanginess.
After Taste: Pineapple continues while apple notes dissipates. Juicy, sweet finish. Hints of vanilla.
On ice: Slightly less acidic and less juice forward.
Additional Notes: Puddicombe’s Apple Pineapple cider is very pineapple dominant, with a lot of fresh juice and natural pineapple flavour happening. A bit creamy, it may invoke memories of a Dole Pineapple Whip. With some dessert apples mainly in the beginning, it relies on the pineapple from start to finish. A hint of fermentation but it barely tastes alcoholic. Very easy to consume.
