Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Candied strawberry and floral. Watermelon notes. Some light wine aspects.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Quick sweet apples, with mild sour apple notes that emerge.
After Taste: Candied fruit flavours really begin to pop that include strawberry and watermelon. Slight astringency from wine. Floral bouquet bits. Sweet finish, dry mouth-feel with slight filmy coat.
On ice: Thinner, less gritty mouth-feel. Mild flavour reduction.
Additional Notes: The Dry Rosé from No Boats on Sunday is an Instagram-worthy vivid rose gold pink, with a strong flavour to match. With a bright candied flavour, it features unique strawberry and watermelon notes, among the standard mixed-berries and floral notes you might expect from a rosé cider/wine. Probably not for traditional cider fans but it does pair well with summer and brunch.
