Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Mild aroma. Semi-sweet apple with some tart cranberry
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation and acidity. Semi-sweet apple-forward, with some tangy notes. Becomes quickly tart as cranberry appears.
After Taste: Apple dissipates and becomes almost completely cranberry focused. Becomes very dry, with a candied cranberry finish. Very long lingering.
On ice: Cuts a small amount of little carbonation. Similar taste.
Additional Notes: A semi-tart apple that turns very cranberry juice focused, the Cranberry Rose by No Boats on Sunday is light on alcohol body and very dry. Apple based, but tastes like a cranberry juice mixture. If you’re a fan of a vodka-cranberry drinks, you might like this one. Not really a rosé taste, but sure looks it.
