Smell: Minimum acidic apple and white wine aromas
Initial Taste: Sharp acidic bite with minor bitter notes. Fresh, crisp and clean apple flavours (with Red Delicious and Ida Red flavours particularly obvious).
After Taste: Acidic flavours remain on the palate. Apple juice finish with notes of white wine flavours.
On ice: More foam and carbonation on ice. Flavour remains the same but is slightly reduced.
Additional Notes: Cider 101 is produced by the students and faculty at the Niagara Teaching College, and in theme with this educational aspect, they provide ‘a cider lesson in a can’ with facts about the history and general characteristics of cider on the label. This cider is preservative free that we believe adds to the very crisp and incredibly clean taste of the beverage.
