Smell: Medium aroma. Bright semi-sour apples with light peach and chardonnay astringency.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Bright and slightly tannic apples with some white grape notes. Some acidity. Light fleshy peach.
After Taste: Apple dissipates quickly leaving a heavier peach that slightly builds. Some mild astringency and wine notes from the chardonnay. Off-dry finish with lingering bright peach notes.
On ice: Slightly less chardonnay on ice.
Additional Notes: The Peach Chardonnay by Niagara Cider Company is a light, mixed offering of wine, cider and peaches. It’s bright, off-dry and starts apple forward finishing more-chardonnay infused and with a medium peach in the end. Easy to drink with a light mouthfeel.
