Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Rustic, woodsy apple. Tannic elements noticeable with a hint of funk and fermentation.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Lighter body but has some strong caramel elements. Tannic and a bit of sourness. Slightly pulpy and extra dry with lots of mouth feel.
After Taste: Becomes more caramel in the aftertaste, which is long lasting. Dry and mostly clean finish, with only a few tannins lingering.
On ice: Reduced apple flavour and watered down.
Additional Notes: Loch Mór Cider once again brings a single varietal that is high in alcohol, tannic elements and flavour. Very dry, it’s easy to drink. Cleaner finish has a strong caramel element. Much more approachable than many other ciders of a similar ABV of 8.7%.
