Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Bright smooth hops. Light tannic apples. Some acidity.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Smooth and semi-creamy hops that have a slightly tropical/lychee/starfruit element to it. Apple is bright but also approachable. Excellent fermentation notes.
After Taste: Long lingering with a smooth finish. Somewhat nutty and earthy in the finish. Some fermentation elements and slightly saline aspects.
On ice: Minimal change, tiny bit less carbonation.
Additional Notes: A smooth hopped offering, the La cidrerie d’un hectare Jumelé is quite unique. Tropical-like hops are approchable and bright and come across as tropical and starfruit-like. And it’s blended with a pretty cloudy and traditional apple that’s semi-soft but with some uplifting elements. Finishes earthier with a bit of salt, lots to enjoy.
