Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet cellared and caramel apples. Soft.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Sweet and caramelized apples,  Some peel and flesh elements.  Soft and apple forward.  Slightly dank and cellared. Bitter-sweet apples with a thick mouth feel.
After Taste:  Becomes more peel like in the aftertaste. Dry elements arrive with less sweetness.  Long last with a very smokey finish. 
On ice: Reduced thickness on ice

Additional Notes:  The La Chouette is a French import that lives up to the cellared, bitter-sweet and long lingering French cidre standard.  Not as intense as others of its type, more sessionanle, it finishes with an extra long aftertaste that is very smokey.  Caramelized with a lot of body, but still easy to drink.
