Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, muddled blueberry, Light apple flesh
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation and acidity, Slow build to a strong, sour apple with some fermentation notes and a light blueberry skin flavour
After Taste: Apple and blueberry reduce, leaving mostly a semi-sour apple element (like a granny smith). Sour and slightly tart but not quite puckering. Clean finish. Woodsy/earthy like notes.
On ice: Reduced sour, fermentation notes. Much “cleaner”
Additional Notes: Kings Mill Blueberry Cider is more of a naturally sour, crisp and juicy apple cider with mild muddled blueberries. The blueberries taste mostly skin-focused, but on the lighter and delicate side. Overall, rather juicy and full flavoured, it has a bit of fermentation elements that add pop to it in the initial taste, but that dissipates and finishes quite clean.
