Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Mulled spices. Sweet pulpy apple. Some bright elements
Initial Taste: No bite. Smooth light apples with heavy clove and cardamom elements. Bright apples that are pretty clean, a bit acidic and tangy.
After Taste: Apple dissipates. Spices ‘warm up’ with cinnamon and allspice peaking through. Somewhat long lingering and slightly dry.
On ice: Overall reduced flavour and less spices.
Additional Notes: The Mulled version of the Cider House Fools by Kin Vineyards has a clean apple base, but a dank/gritty spicing to it. Building upon their original Cider House Fools, it is basically still with the odd bubble. A bit acidic and tangy, it has a lot of elements. The spicing isn’t your standard warming mulling, but a gritty “dank” clove and cardamom, with a hint of allspice and cinnamon in the finish.
