Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Semi bright and pulpy apples. Some tangy notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Smooth creamy apples. Sharp elements with some higher acidity and less tannins. Pulpy with some lemon hints.
After Taste: Become more peel and fermentation focused in the aftertastes. Cleans out a little quicker than most, with some dry elements. Slight minerality here.
On ice: Reduced intensity and acidity.
Additional Notes: Heeman’s Pink Lady, although not pink in colour, is a semi-smooth but also holds some bright sharper elements. Made with the pink lady apple variety, it features some higher acidity apples, but remains easy to consume. It finishes pretty quickly with a little bit of fermentation notes in the aftertaste. Some zesty notes with lemon-like elements. Still holds Heeman’s typical semi-sweet underlying tone.
