Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium, sweet pulpy and fleshy apples, hints of peel, but clean.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation, but a lot of soft bubbles. Sweet, smooth and quite soft apple as often found in a pink apple.  Clean with a slight tannic note in a medium body.
After Taste: Apple continues, becomes slightly sweeter and a little softer.  More earthy elements start to arise in this long lingering aftertaste. Hints of honey elements in the finish.
On ice: Slightly thinner mouthfeel. No flavour change, less carbonation.

Additional Notes:  Heeman’s Original is a medium-sweet cider, but it’s not sugary, with a lot of juicy apple elements. Clean, very refreshing and upbeat.  No tart notes with remaining elements well balanced. A lot of unique apples make it easy to drink, but still not a “light” overall flavour, even at 4%.  Would appeal to many.  Medium, middle of the ground cider is most regards.
