Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Medium rum smell and strong tart raspberries
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation, medium astringency. Quick tart raspberries with some deep golden rum flavour. Mild crisp apples. Some oak notes.
After Taste: Raspberries dissipate but rum slighty increases and lingers. Crisp apple notes also increase.
On ice: Carbonation slightly reduced. Rum flavour and astringency reduced. More raspberry focused.
Additional Notes: The raspberry Ramboozle from Hard Way Cider Co. is medium on the rum punch and strong on the tart, crisp raspberry flavours, with apple being a third flavour noticed. With a golden rum flavour detected, it has a considerable astringency but not too strong to distract. Some oak notes are obvious throughout from the barreling process as well. The sweet and tart raspberry flavours compliment the rum flavours well.
