Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. A floral perfume with candied cherry and slightly medicinal
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Smooth floral and rosé offering, with some candied notes. Cherry cough drop notes.
After Taste: Apple makes a sharp, sour appearance then dissipates quickly, leaving a dry, more floral perfume + bouquet like taste. Slight earthy finish.
On ice: Cuts carbonation and tonic elements. More wine-focused on ice.
Additional Notes: The Rosé Cider Spritzer by Ernest Cider is a light offering at 4% and 4g/L of sugar. Very floral and rosé forward, it has a quick hit of sour apple that is the base for the product. A little thick but it doesn’t have too long of an aftertaste. Some notes of cherry and cranberry which make the rosé elements pop along with some earthy elements. Note the wine mixture with some tonic elements and bitterness. Cherry is slightly medicinal tasting and candied in nature (like a cherry flavoured cough drop).
