Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy apple with a hint of muddled earthy raspberry.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Earthy and some tonic notes. Some non-ripe raspberry. Ice-tea forward. Dry and not sweet at all.
After Taste: Some earthy elements in the aftertaste, where raspberry dissipates leaving only tonic elements.  Herby ending that’s muddled, presumably from lemon balm.
On ice: Even less flavourful overall.

Additional Notes:  The Après series by East Street Cider is a collection of various flavoured cider spritzers – with this one featuring lemon balm (an herb, not lemon) and raspberries.  Zero sweetness comes along with this zero sugar offering. It tastes more like an iced-tea, than a cider or a spritzer in our opinion. Has tonic flavours but not necessarily the mouthfeel of a spritzer – tastes a bit flat (like an iced tea). Flavours are muddled, nothing really comes out with that much clarity – some earthy raspberry and some pulpy apple, but it all blends for one unique flavour of its own.
