Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Medley of sweet and acidic apple smells.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation. Quick acidity and tartness. Sweet and smooth medley of heritage apple flavours. Caramel and tangy notes. Slightly musty.
After Taste: Apple flavours continue but slowly dissipate. Banana undertones. Semi-dry, clean finish.
On ice: Acidity drops a lot. Has more tanginess.

Additional Notes: True to its name, Duxbury’s Heritage 1650 does deliver on the taste of rustic, heritage apple flavours – with a rudimental taste experience overall. A relatively dry cider, it still has sweet elements, is smooth and clean to consume – from start to finish. With a classic, elementary taste, it invokes imagery of simpler, more traditional times of cider making.
