Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Bright pulpy apple and some herbs.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-bright apples. Some astringency and gin spirit dankness, including a hint of bitterness and earthy herbs.
After Taste: Smoother apple notes appear in the aftertaste as tartness and brightness reduces.  More distinct gin botanical elements – like juniper – are obvious; as well as a generic floral essence. Ends dry.
On ice: Reduced warmth and carbonation. 

Additional Notes:  Crimson Cider’s Ginspired is an apple forward offering with a twist.  It starts with semi-bright apples. Some gin spirit dankness, dryness & grit – including astringency.  But as the apples dissipate and the aftertaste really takes hold you get a much more earthy botanical and herby notes here.  By no means overpowering, a unique take on the gin elements that become more present as you consume the bottle and it warms. Crisp to start but more dry and dulled in the finish.
