Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Pulpy floral rosé wine and bitter sharp apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Bitter sharp apples with some acidity that’s balanced with baco-noir wine that’s slightly dry but still light.
After Taste: Apple dissipates and becomes more wine-like in nature. Finishes with a slight film but clean and dry. A refreshing and bright finish that is long lasting.
On ice: Carbonation cut, but not much change.
Additional Notes: The County Cider Company offers its Legacy Series Rosé for 2021. Blended with baco-noir wine, it’s got a very traditional rosé taste. Sharp and crisp apples blend well with the rosé elements, which smell more floral than it tastes. Long lasting aftertaste helps with the rest of the full-bodied offering. Acidity driven and very wine-oriented in body.
