Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet passion fruit with smooth apples. Slight pomegranate tartness.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Slightly tart and gritty pomegranate and passion fruit with a semi-sweet apple base. Juicy mouthfeel with natural fruit earthiness.
After Taste: Apple dissipates, sweetness leaves and it becomes tart and almost puckering with sour elements. Ends on dank tropical notes.
On ice: Slightly reduced carbonation, little change.
Additional Notes: The Hurricane Cider by Collective Arts is a unique offering, which focuses mostly on the adjunct passion fruit and pomegranate flavours, as opposed to apple. It’s tart and sour but still has a semi-sweet apple base. A lot of flavour, its rather punchy and full-bodied. Very juicy and tropical in nature.
