Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Dry black tea with some spices, light apple smell with almost a blueberry note.
Initial Taste: No bite from carbonation but a bit of acidity. Semi-sour apples with bright elements.  Dry black tea with floral elements. Slight blueberry flavour.
After Taste: Apples become cleaner and dry notes from tea are more prominent. Tannins from black tea sit on palate. Apple also dissipates although overall, other elements linger a long time.
On ice: Watered down and much less apple flavour.

Additional Notes:  This still, tea-infused Verbana Blues from the Clafeld x Pluck tea line is a bold choice. Starting off somewhat acidic from an black tea-forward base (not much apple characteristics itself), it migrates to more tea-focused in the aftertaste with some tannic and woody elements.  Hints of blueberry like elements. A very unique offering. Skip the ice.
