Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma – dry, musty apple with a lot of fermentation-process notes
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Slight acidity and quick musty flavours. Some bitter and sour flavours from the apples.
After Taste: Sweet lemon flavour comes through and largely overtakes apple flavours. Malty with some acidity. Semi-dry finish.
On ice: Cuts out carbonation sensation. Increases lemon/lemonade flavour and is sweeter overall, with less must.

Additional Notes: Clafeld’s Disco Lemonade cider is a unique cider, delivering on a sweet – not puckering – lemon flavour on the palate. If you want an aged, mature, more-wine like experience drink it without ice. If you want a sweeter experience that really highlights the sweet lemonade aspects, throw some ice in it.
