Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Candied and sweet artificial-like blackberry. Light dessert apple
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-sweet dessert apple with some blackberry elements that are tart and very different than the smell.
After Taste: Apple dissipates and a semi-dry and slightly astringent blackberry becomes more present – and it lingers a long time in the aftertaste.  Some tonic notes.
On ice: Reduced carbonation and sweetness. Overall, a bit muted.

Additional Notes:  Chill Streets’ blackberry dry offering called All Night Long smells very sweet, commercial and upbeat, however the taste is more muted, tart and tonic-like.  The first sips will throw you off a bit, as it is slightly dry and semi-sweet apples with only a hint of blackberry.  As the apple drops out in the aftertaste, you’re left with a semi-tart and artificial-tasting blackberry pulp finish.
