Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: medium aroma. Sweet, syrupy pear
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation.  Sweet, somewhat sugary pear taste with a little astringency.
After Taste: Pear concentrate becomes more noticeable as the sweetness and sugar dissipates.  Finished with a bit of film.  Some tonic-water elements in the finish
On ice: Slightly less flavourful.

Additional Notes:  A very flavourful pear, the Mountain Pear by Bumper Crop is extra sweet and sugary. Smooth, with some elements of the alcohol (7%), it’s a lot to take in and very commercial.  Similar to other pear-based cocktails, as opposed to a fruit-focused cider. Has some tangy notes in the finish, along with some filmy aftertaste that you would find in carbonated water.
