Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet, candied berry medley. Slight dessert apple.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Strong, sweet, candied, and syrupy berry. Raspberry upfront with blackberry. Strawberry elements are there but not as present. Thick, with a dessert apple base.
After Taste: Most of the apple dissipates leaving a raspberry juice finish with some film that lasts a long time. A little earthy in the aftertaste.
On ice: A little less syrupy on ice.
Additional Notes: One of Blake’s Hard Cider’s flagship ciders that they are very famous for is the Triple Jam, a thick three berry medley flavoured candied cider. Lots of juicy berry elements, only a touch of dessert apple, it lingers a long time with a film on the mouth. Some fermentation elements linger after a clean and juicy start. Raspberries and blackberries are the most dominant. This is a very sweet, ready to drink (RTD) type cider, widely available across the States.
