Smell: Medium aroma. Semi-tart and rich black cherry with hints of apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Black cherry that’s a little candied, slightly tart, but not sweet. Sight semi-funky apple base but very minimal.
After Taste: Both cherry and apple clear out quickly leaving a tonic taste and sensation in the aftertaste.
On ice: Dramatically reduced flavour, with less carbonation. Slightly more apples in comparison.
Additional Notes: The Black Cherry Cider Seltzer by Thornbury Craft Cider is seltzer-forward offering that is indeed light. Think tonic water meets a candied, standard black cherry flavour with a splash of slightly funky apple. A simple and straightforward offering, it is a light and balanced blended cider/seltzer.
