Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Light aroma. Muddled tart and natural, earthy blueberry. Hint of apple.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Starts of a bit more apple, then it quickly moves to an earthy and natural blueberry – with some slight raspberry notes. Blueberry is tart and pressed juice tasting.  Apple is light, dessert-focused, and easy to drink.
After Taste: Apple dissipates leaving more berry flavour, sourness and a slight bitterness comes though at the very end from the berry juices. Lingers a bit with a prune-like finish.
On ice: Slightly reduced over all.

Additional Notes:  Heeman’s Blue Berry has both blueberries and raspberries, that is a berry forward offering with a light apple flavour. This very blueberry juice heavy offering might throw some people with its heavier mouthfeel. Unique ending with some prune notes. It is mainly blueberry focused, and the fruit comes across as muddled and natural – with some mild raspberry tartness. 5% but the heaviness of the juice hides most alcoholic elements.
