Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Sweet smell of thick apples with hints of beer
Initial Taste: Med-Mild bite, smooth thick and creamy beerish taste.
After Taste: Sweet apples come through after the inital taste and stay on the pallet. Filmy aftertaste that stays in the back of the mouth with hints of raisins and cinnamon.
On ice: carbonation is more prevalent, sweetness is cut.
Additional Notes: For those who have not tried a mead before, this is a great opportunity for something that is sweeter and not as thick as a straight mead, but still remains easily drinkable. Light and refreshing, the apple adds a smoothness that matches the honey base.
