CIDER CRATE TASTING NOTES:

Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet apple with a hint of cherry. Some farm, funky apple notes and acidity.

Initial Taste:  Light bite from carbonation. Mix of semi-tart apple and lightly puckering cherry that quickly dissipates.

After Taste: Becomes sweeter and more candied.  Some dryness like a rosé wine, with a bit of maraschino cherry finish. Some tanginess and thicker mouth feel with a bit of a gritty elements.

On ice: Much thinner and carbonation reduced.

Additional Notes:  Archibald’s Hard Cherry, is not as hard as the name implies.  It has a nice, smooth cherry profile on top of a standard, semi-tart apple base. Still crisp and clean, it’s a medium-sweet offering with a bit of a thinker finish.  A very concentrated cherry flavour – Jolly Rancher energy here.
