Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Astringent caramelized apple with some woody notes.
Initial Taste: No bite. Smooth, creamy caramelized apples contrast with heavy astringency notes. Dry elements but still very sweet. Vanilla notes and slightly woody.
After Taste: Long lingering, finishing clean and very sweet. Creamy apple. Finishes slightly woody. Elements linger a while.
On ice: Dramatically reduced flavours overall. But smoother if too intense for you.
Additional Notes: Known as the gold standard in Quebec for Ice Cider, the Domaine Pinnacle offers a clean, sweet, slightly woody and caramelized thick ice cider. A lot of flavour but not much profile change as you drink it. It’s creamy with strong pulpy elements. Don’t put it on ice – chill and let it warm to get the full effect and not lose the essence.
