Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Light aroma. Sweet and semi-tart cherry. Some bright apple notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Bright dessert apples emerge quickly, with some cherry notes. Semi-dry but not sweet. Semi-thick mouthfeel.
After Taste: Apple dissipates and leaves a stronger cherry element. Cherry notes become a bit medicinal in nature but smooth. Lingers a long time.
On ice: Dramatic drop in cherry flavour.
Additional Notes: Busl Cider’s Cerasus is a cherry infused cider that is on the thicker side! It does start out primarily apple forward as it transitions to pretty much all cherry in the end. The cherry flavours are a bit dynamic, starting off more dry and tart and becoming more candied and medicinal tasting in the finish that lingers awhile. Don’t add ice to this one, you will miss a lot of the flavour. Enhanced cherry in the 2020 version compared to previous years.
