Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy sweet apples. Some fermentation notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Smooth, bright apples. Slight tanginess but light mouthfeel, with some acidity. Hints of beeswax.
After Taste: Becomes a little less clean in the aftertaste with some funky elements. Remains dry. Slight film.
On ice: Elements slightly reduced and thinner.
Additional Notes: The North Road by Farmgate Cider Co. is a bright offering with some funkiness in the aftertaste. It’s pulpy and fresh, quite crisp and a pretty flavourful apple offering. A smoother cider than most of the other offerings from Farmgate, but still has a common taste with its brethren. Approachable, a good introduction cider for new Farmgate drinkers.
