Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Tannic with some bitter-sharp elements. Slight earthy and acidic.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Quick tannic apples with some acidity. Pulpy, with some apple skin aspects and dryness. Some astringency but overall pretty light and bright.
After Taste: Becomes more dry as time goes on. Bitter-sharp apple notes dissipate and become slightly sweeter.
On ice: Slightly thinner and drier.
Additional Notes: The Heritage Dry by Grey and Gold is a classic, traditional cider with bitter-sharp elements that is still pretty bright to consume overall. It’s clean and easy to drink, but with a lot of depth and layers. Some rustic and earthy notes, it has some residual elements at the bottom of the bottle. A very traditional cider with some modern hints, well crafted.
