Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy, juicy apple with some hints of astringency from the rum.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Smooth creamy apples with some fresh, juicy dessert apple notes. Mild golden rum notes.
After Taste: When carbonation reduces, rum elements spike dramatically.  Smooth with very little astringency and harshness.  It dissipates and finishes pretty clean.
On ice: Reduced carbonation, more apple.

Additional Notes:  The Rum Cider by Bulwark is a very different rum-infused cider. It does not have the harshness you typically find with a barrel aged rum-infused cider. Its juicy and apple forward, light and pretty clean.  Some mild astringent elements in the aftertaste that show in the back of the throat as the bottle finishes. Golden rum taste that is medium but not dominate.
