Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Punchy crisp and juicy apple. Some skin elements.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Sweet, crisp strong apple flavour. Minerality aspects.
After Taste: Apple slowly fades with the mouthfeel becoming thicker and more syrupy. Long lingering flavour notes. A bit dank at the finish.
On ice: Reduced carbonation. Thinner body but no flavour changes.
Additional Notes: The Strong by Reinhard Red Apple is a 7% offering that’s very apple forward. Crisp and refreshing with some minerality flavour notes. It’s thicker and similar in texture to an iced cider, including the elevated sweet notes. Juicy but heavier, gritty skin elements as if you were chewing on an apple peel without flesh. It’s a nice followup to their original Light Cider that shares some similar aspects but does differ, especially for mouthfeel. Reminiscent of an ice cider but way less intense.

I do like the cider but for reasons of health, need the colonic value.

473ml can:19g sugar, 15g carbs, 240cals.
I emailed them last year to find this information. They noted it was their latest nutritional analysis, so these numbers could be higher or lower at this time.

Why is there no calorie listing for Reinhart’s 7% alc. cider?
I really would like to know.
