Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Acidic and semi-dry apples with some peppery notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from acidity. Starts strong in acidic flavours with some tannic apples.
After Taste: Remains acidic and sour, gets a little bit dank as aftertaste goes on. Extremely long-lingering aftertaste with buttery notes. Some finishing pepper-like aspects.
On ice: Slightly more watered down and less acidic.
Additional Notes: The Farmhouse Still by Grange of Prince Edward is very unique in its acidic properties. Long lasting taste, it could impact the food you’re eating for better or worse. Stays very flavourful and wine-like for a long time, think chardonnay, especially with the buttery notes. Dry, light and bright but not sweet. Tannic but not too apple forward. The fact it is a still cider may take some palate adjustments if you are use to only carbonated ciders.
