Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Dessert apples with some creamy elements.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation and acidity. Semi-tangy and semi-dry apples, with some peel notes. Slightly acidic with some tannins.
After Taste: Becomes a little less apple forward and slightly more forward fermentation notes. Some tonic and floral elements in the finish. Ends drier.
Additional Notes: The Slow & Low from Stock & Row is a slow fermented cider and the depth shows this. Slightly acidic, tannic and dry, it is not overly apple forward but of course still with nice apple flavours. Rather clean tasting overall. Approachable with elements of both commercial and traditional ciders, it’s fit for the pub, patio or dinner table.
