Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Semi sweet with some musty and astringent notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from acidity and some carbonation. Light carbonation taste notes with some semi-sweet apples. Slightly musty.
After Taste: Apple taste reduces quickly, what lingers are more fermentation elements than fruit flavours. Semi-dank and aged. Almost has some black pepper notes.
On ice: Carbonation almost completely cut, same with apple taste.
Additional Notes: North Cider’s Wild is a mild offering, with a bit of dank and cellared taste. This Normandy-inspired cider however doesn’t quite have the kick nor mouthfeel normally found in the French style. If you’re looking for a strong “apple” flavour, this is not for you (especially on ice, almost all apple and carbonation is removed). Could pair well with a meal.
