Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma of very fresh/ripe pear aroma. Some slight earthiness.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation. Quickly becomes a tart and tangy pear peel flavour. Some tannins. Some mustiness and earthy notes.
After Taste: Pear flavour continues but slowly dissipates. Honey notes. Crisp finish.
On ice: Pear flavour is reduced. Less tangy/tannins and more mild.

Additional Notes: A very pear-forward perry, Lowrey Bros successfully creates a true-to-the-fruit pear cider that many contemporaries haven’t done yet in their perries. Sweet but not sugary or artificial, it is smooth, very crisp and yet still has a significant tannin amount to make it a truly craft offering. The vintage branding on it makes you think its’ from another time.
