Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Semi-strong sweet desert apples with a light must. More apple forward then most ice ciders
Initial Taste: No bite. Quick acidity with some thick, semi-pulpy apple flavours that are sweet (most likely a blend of desert apples). Slight tanginess.
After Taste: Becomes more sour and lingers a long time. Finishes rather smooth with hints of honey.
On ice: Slightly thinner and more crisp.
Additional Notes: Kings Mill Ice Cider is a unique take on an ice cider. Its not as thick or syrupy as other ice ciders on the market, but it still has a definitive iced cider taste. Most iced ciders have caramel-like elements, while this is more apple forward and therefore clean and crisp. If a typical ice cider is a bit strong (too astringent and/or harsh) for you, this could be a nice fit. Would make for a lovely aperitif and/or digestive.
